Tristan Tzara readings.
I was making the invitation and the poster for readings of Tristan Tzara, one of the founders and central figures of the Dada movement.
The point was to make the visual in Dada style by using the traditional technics of collage. Actually Tzara was using it even for writing by collectiong his poems from the random parts of texts. So the project included a lot of manual work with making the real paper collage pieces, scaning and then digitalising.
Moreover, the invitation was printed on a thin plastig board, using the special technology of few layers of the toner printing to reach the unusual tactile feeling. The invitation could be used as an object for collecting.
The design is simle and eye-catching, recognisable for those who know Tzara and Dada movement and unusual for thoes who don't.
